Amenities
Accessibility.
Quest Mawson Lakes provides full wheelchair access into the property and offers full access apartments with more open space, wider doorways and an open shower complete with shower chair and handrail. Availability is limited, please see reception for more details
Adaptors.
The electrical current is 240 volts AC at 50 Hz. International adaptors for Australia's standard 3-pin plug configuration are available from Reception (availability is limited). A $20 hire deposit is refundable upon return of the item.
Airconditioning.
All apartments offer individually controlled reverse cycle air conditioning/heating units allowing you to regulate the apartment temperature for your own comfort. The units are controlled with an individual remote located on the wall adjacent to the apartment entry door.
To operate, press the ON button. Select one of the four modes: Automatic, Cool, Dehumidify or Heat. Select the desired temperature using the UP and DOWN arrows. Please consider the environment and turn off the air conditioning when leaving your apartment.

Please note that in our 2 & 3-bedroom apartments, all of the units in the apartment must be on the same mode: Auto, Cool, Dehumidify or Heat, otherwise the units will not work.
Balcony.
Our three bedroom apartments come equipped with balconies. We recommend closing the balcony door before leaving the apartment and request that the door not be open while air-conditioning is in use.
Coffee and Tea.
Coffee and tea making facilities are available in your kitchen and are replenished daily except for Sundays and Public Holidays. The instant coffee and tea bags are complimentary. 4 Coffee pods are provided complimentary with every housekeeping service, with extras $1 each, and more available from reception.
Dishwasher.
A dishwashing powder sachet is located in the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen.
Load the dishwasher with soiled crockery and cutlery. Place the dishwashing powder into the dispenser on the inside of door and close the dishwasher door. Turn the dishwasher on and then select the program you wish to run. More powder is available from reception.
Hairdryer.
The hairdryer is located in the vanity cupboard of each bathroom.
Ironing.
An iron and ironing board is located inside the wardrobe of your apartment. To turn on, turn the dial clockwise and select the desired fabric setting. Please ensure the iron is turned off when not in use.
Laundry.
A washing machine and clothes dryer are provided in the one, two & three bedroom apartments. There are also complementary laundry facilities on the ground floor for the use of all guests, particularly those in studio apartments. Washing liquid is provided in your apartment or in the guest laundry and additional liquid is available from Reception.
Please Note: Front loading washing machines only require half of each sachet contents.

To operate the front loading Washing Machine:
- Open the door and load clothes into the machine drum
- Open washing machine detergent drawer on the top left hand side and empty one half of sachet content into the left hand side compartment and close drawer
- Press the on/off button
- Using the program selection dial, choose the appropriate cycle for your laundry
- Press the start/pause button to start the program
To operate the Dryer:
- Load clothes into dryer and close door firmly
- Select the required temperature and time by turning the dial
- Push the start/pause button on the condenser dryer
Microwave.
Please do not use metal utensils in the microwave. Place food in a microwave-safe dish. Select the time required and power setting, then press “START”. Please Note: Splatter lids are located in all apartments for use.
Safe.
Your apartment is equipped with a safety box, located in the bedroom wardrobe. Please put your valuables inside the safety box and input your own unique code. To open the safety box door, enter that same code and the safety box will open. If you forget your safety box code, please contact reception.
Telephone.
The information provided in this directory is to assist you when making local, interstate or international telephone calls. Charges for outside calls will automatically be registered to your account. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Reception.
Billing
All local calls are $0.70 per call. Interstate and international calls are billed at house pulse rates. All mobile calls are charged at approx. $1.16 per minute plus connection fees.
Dialing an apartment from inside the property
To call another apartment please dial the apartment number. For apartments ending with the letter ‘B’ add 50 to the apartment number. For example, to call apartment 101A simply dial 101, but to call apartment 101B, dial 151.
To make an outside call
You can dial direct for all local, interstate, and international calls. To make an outside call, please dial ‘0’ first before dialling the designated number.
Dialling Interstate (STD) or International (IDD) numbers
For calls outside South Australia and within Australia; Dial ‘0’ for an outside line. Dial the relevant STD code then dial the number required.

Television.
Your apartment features a flat screen television in the living area that has been programmed to receive all digital free to air channels available. 1-, 2- & 3-bedroom apartments also feature an extra TV in the main bedroom.
Your living-room TV also comes equipped with GuestCast, which allows you to mirror your personal device onto the TV, excellent for streaming media or browsing the internet. Simply follow the instructions on the card printed in your room under the TV remote.
Towels.
Extra towels can be obtained from reception or upon request during your housekeeping service. To signal to housekeeping that you would like your towels replaced, please leave them on the floor in the bath or shower cubicle. If you would instead like to re-use your towels, please hang on the towel-rack.
